Emily has lived in New Jersey, Taiwan and Massachusetts and currently resides in Providence, Rhode Island. Along with her longtime boyfriend Robert, she delights in exploring the area’s Italian restaurants and markets and is always on the hunt for the perfect slice of pizza. While she has a special fondness for the Asian foods of her Taiwanese-American childhood, she is also in love with all types of Mediterranean culture and cuisine.

When she’s not experimenting in the kitchen, Emily works in the advertising department of a Boston radio group and enjoys snowshoeing, Nordic walking, reading a good book and catching live music whenever possible.

Ric is a freelance graphic designer and photographer, cookbook author, and the co-founder of MediterrAsian.com, a Web site that promotes the benefits of traditional Mediterranean and Asian eating and lifestyle practices. He lives in the beautiful Pacific island nation of New Zealand with the love of his life, Trudy.

Ric is passionate about Mediterranean and Asian cooking, and he enjoys painting, nature photography, hiking in remote locations, mountain biking, kayaking and watching rugby. But what he enjoys most of all is chilling out over a good meal with a glass of wine and good conversation.

Trudy works in the New Zealand tourism industry, and is the co-founder of the food and lifestyle site MediterrAsian.com, and the co-author of the cookbook The MediterrAsian Way.

When she’s not happily preparing and eating traditional Mediterranean and Asian dishes, you’ll most likely find her tending to the herbs and citrus trees in the garden, or spending time with Ric making the most of the great New Zealand outdoors.

Guilherme is a Web Developer working for Yahoo! Europe. He is an active member of the blogosphere and runs the Zo’C blog about web design.

In his free time he enjoys cooking and eating in a very experimental way. He originally helped develop this blog, and is an occasional guest writer.
